Earth Hour 09

Hi

I've just had a big weekend covering the Earth Hour 09 event in Dunedin. 

It was a particularly balmy evening in Dunedin so people were out and about which was fantastic to see. 

To me Earth Hour is about educating the masses about global warming and our effect on it. Alot of people say it's just a pc act or only a drop in the bucket... Well I'm getting a little tired of the Cynics out there, i appreciate the value in questioning but am loosing patience for arrogance and laziness!

 It was interesting to chat with people whilst filming and get there view on global warming and our part in it... Generally people were in agreement that we are contributing to it and that they were keen to do something about it! Hooray!

My intention is not to ramble... so here goes ;)

I am employed as a Media Producer at a University in New Zealand.

I have a fantastic partner  that inspires me, challenges me and keeps me thinking about my actions. We also have a wonderful boy, whom you will no doubt see countless photos of in this blog!  Eli is his name and my partner is Anna.

I feel very fortunate in life as i have a loving family, work the work i love and am surrounded by people that inspire me. 

There is alot going on in the world and we are all involved.
